What's New at MoneroSwap: Zcash Route, Listings, and a Rate in the Page

A short note on what changed at MoneroSwap in September 2026, written so that anyone linking to the service has a dated page to point at. The two big items are a Zcash to Monero route and a rate that is now part of every pair page rather than something the browser fetches afterwards. Everything else about the service is unchanged: no account, no KYC, no logs, no database of swaps, and we never hold your funds.

Zcash to Monero, live since 14 September

You can now send ZEC and receive XMR. The deposit goes to a transparent Zcash address, and a shielded wallet can pay it with an ordinary deshielding transaction, so only the amount arriving at that address is visible on the Zcash chain. The route runs as two swaps back to back, which is why the amount shown is an estimate rather than a fixed figure and why you should allow around 25 minutes.

Two things are specific to this route. A Zcash refund address is required before the swap starts, so keep a wallet you control ready for it. And ZEC is inbound only: it can be sent through MoneroSwap but not received, so there is no Monero to Zcash page and there will not be one until the settlement side can pay ZEC out. The Zcash to Monero pair page and the guide on swapping Zcash to Monero cover the rest.

Where MoneroSwap is listed now

Monerica lists MoneroSwap in its instant swaps section, XMR Hub carries it, NoToKyc issued a KYC level 0 badge after reviewing the flow, AnonKyc links it as a partner, and profile pages exist on XMRList and Monero Market Cap. Each of those pages describes the service the same way this site does: non-custodial, no account, no identity checks.

Listings matter for one reason beyond traffic. Several unrelated projects use the name MoneroSwap, so a set of directory pages that all point at moneroswap.net is how a reader, or a search engine, tells this service apart from the others.

A rate you can read before JavaScript loads

Every pair page, from BTC to XMR to XMR to USDT on Solana, now shows an indicative rate that was taken when the page was generated, with the time it was checked. It refreshes roughly every 15 minutes, and as soon as the page loads with JavaScript on, the live quote replaces it. The exact amount you receive is shown when you start the swap, and the rate you see there is the rate you get, with nothing added afterwards. A deposit that arrives after the quote window settles at the rate on arrival.

The same pages also gained a section written for that pair alone: what the deposit looks like on that chain, what moves the quote, and what to check before pasting a destination address.

Open source and over Tor

The code that runs in your browser has been public on GitHub since launch, at github.com/moneroswap-net/frontend, so you can read what the page does with your addresses and your order. The onion service is swaps743lptiag5xbf2w7epmyqqnhmj27fij3xn65ojrkt5n3jp3h7qd.onion, and the core flow works there with JavaScript switched off.

On custody, plainly: we never hold your funds. A settlement layer does, briefly, while the swap completes, and the deposit address you pay belongs to that layer, never to us. That is what non-custodial means here, and it is the reason there is no account to open and nothing for us to freeze.

Swap into or out of Monero, no KYC

MoneroSwap is a non-custodial Monero swap with no account, no KYC, and no logs. Open source and available over Tor. Verify every claim, then swap BTC to Monero, ETH to Monero, USDT to Monero, or see all pairs. New here? Start with the FAQ.
