MoneroSwap
Terms, in plain language
No fine print, no traps. Here's exactly how MoneroSwap works and what you can count on — and most of it is in your favor.
- We never hold your funds, so we can't freeze, seize, or reverse them — and neither can anyone leaning on us.
- No account, no KYC, no logs. We keep nothing on you.
- If a swap can't complete, your money comes back to your refund address.
- One flat 1% fee, shown before you confirm. No hidden markup.
- All we ask: double-check your address (crypto is final), and make sure you're allowed to use a service like this where you live.
What MoneroSwap is
A friendly front door to swapping in and out of Monero — no account needed. The swap itself is carried out by an independent settlement network your funds flow through; we're the interface that makes it simple and private. We never take custody of your coins.
Your funds stay yours
Your money goes straight to the settlement network's deposit address — never through us, never held by us. That's the whole design: because we never touch your funds, there's nothing for us to freeze, seize, or hand over, no matter who asks.
Crypto is final — so we built guardrails
Once a transaction is sent, no one can reverse it — not us, not anyone. Rather than bury that in fine print, we designed around it: we check your address format, show you the exact amount to send, and let you set a refund address up front. Your part is simple — double-check the destination and send the exact amount before the quote timer runs out.
If a swap can't go through, you're covered
In the rare case a swap can't proceed, your funds are returned to the refund address you provide — which is why we ask for one and register it for you automatically. Keep your Swap Pass link and you can always come back to manage it.
Honest pricing
One flat 1% fee, shown in the quote before you commit to anything. No spread, no hidden markup on the rate.
Where you can use it
Crypto rules vary a lot by country, and you know yours better than we do — so please make sure you're allowed to use a service like this where you live, and handle any taxes that apply to you. Some regions may be restricted by the settlement network, which is outside our control. And please don't use MoneroSwap for anything unlawful.
The honest limits
We run MoneroSwap in good faith and want every swap to go smoothly. But we're an interface to things we don't fully control — the settlement network, public blockchains, your own wallet — so we can't promise nothing will ever go wrong, and the service comes as is, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, we can't be held responsible for losses outside our hands: a swap the network delays or declines, a wrong or mistyped address, an outage, or funds sent incorrectly. Plain version: we're a careful tool, not a bank — use good judgment and double-check, and we'll keep the tool honest and working.
Not financial advice
Nothing here is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice — it's just a way to swap. If you need professional advice, please talk to someone licensed.
This may change
We may update these terms as the service grows; the date below always tells you the current version. If a change ever matters, we'll keep it in the same plain language.
